Captain Small Wins™ was inspired by someone very special—my son, Langston.

There were days when my body hurt because of Sickle Cell pain. On those days, medicine helped, but so did something even more powerful.

Langston has held my hand through painful moments at doctors' visits, when I had to give blood draws for labs. My son, Langson, is such a bright light in my life. It made me think that everyone should have a special hand to hold for comfort, like Langston's, to make them smile just a little brighter.
